I am sure that there are going to be disclaimers and in fact, I DON’T KNOW ALL THE FACTS but I really would like to know why Obama decided to bring along his teleprompter to speak with sixth graders at a elementary/middle school in Falls Church, Virginia. Maybe it has been awhile for me but I don’t think that I really understood politics other than we had a president and government. I have included a photo that I swiped from theadmonition.com.
Take notice of the secret service in the back the teleprompters and the amount of space that he is taking up. Contrast this to Bush on 9/11 when he spoke at Booker Elementary School to second graders. Isn’t Bush a little more engaged with the students. Don’t you think that they will remember Bush more favorably than Obama’s teleprompter. If I’m wrong then please let me know.
Maybe Obama is practicing for the State of the Union this coming Wednesday for the children. Maybe is showing them what he uses to speak. But again I don’t think any of them would care. In fact, I don’t think any of the sixth graders would care what Obama had to say. What would be important to them is the fact that they got the opportunity to meet the President of the United States. Were there threats against Obama that the secret service had to take the extra precaution and post someone behind him? Oh so many questions from such a bad decision. And to think that this is just another perceived waste of American taxes.
Oh by the way…since I don’t know all the facts…should I say that Obama acted stupidly? What say you?
