Maybe Obama will grow into the great President he always envisioned or rather what others have envisioned for him. Maybe Obama will be the first Black president to make the white man wish that George Washington was black too. Obama reminds us and the world that he is the President of the United States “…listen, I’m the President” every few months just in case we didn’t know or forgot. He also reminds us that since he’s the President he’s also the almighty one that is responsibility for how bad the economy is going, “ultimately I’m responsible, I’m the President of the United States.” Oh isn’t that so honorable of him. He tells America that we are so great and courageous on July 4th all the while has told the world that America’s deeds are harmful to global peace.
Gee, as long as my wife tells me she loves me to my face why should I care if she tells her “friends” that I’m all little arrogant for thinking I’m her husband.
But in the midst of his “listen to me…I’m black and the President of the United States” he indirectly asks the public to not put too much pressure on him because this is his first presidency. Look, Obama didn’t get a chance to finish his first term as senator and maybe a little ruff on the edges when it comes to handling power. Obama appreciated the economy falling apart a few months before Bush’s admin went out rather than now. Well, lets not forget that it were the democrats who pushed for Fan and Fred to buy up the useless and racist loans.
As unemployment is rising nationally to almost 10% and in some states around 15%, lets give Obama a chance to feel his way around. The is the first economic catastrophe since the great depression and with all firsts you have to be gentle because who knows what will happen!
As Obama pushes America for higher unemployed, receive unlimited unemployment checks, free health care and thus become wards of the state let’s not worry because as my grandmother would always say, “these things have a way of working themselves out.” But I’m not going to worry because just as my mom and dad would take part of my money that I made from cutting grass and put it into an account for me to use later in life so will Obama in all that he does. So let’s not be hard on the guy…he’s the first Black President of the United States.
Just an aside: Obama’s children won’t work for the rest of their lives and I wonder what they will say when someone asks, “How do you feel about your dad being the first black president to attempt to change America into a socialist nation. They are celebrated because they are children going into the White House … they will be castigated because of what their dad accomplished from the White House.
