Obama: Taking The Responsibility To Give Blame

few are to blame all are responsible

Consider Obama’s words about his responsibility:

“. . . some are to blame but all are responsible.” joint press conference between President Barack Obama and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown Apr. 1, 2009

I think I screwed up . . .And I take responsibility for it and we’re going to make sure we fix it so it doesn’t happen again.” Interview with Anderson Cooper concerning Tom Dashle’s unpaid taxes 2/4/09

Ultimately I’m responsible, I’m the President of the United States . . . The buck stops with me”  About AIG Bonuses. 3/18/09

It’s my job to make sure that we fix these messes, even if I don’t make them.” Obama speaks out against the AIG bonuses. 3/20/09

“And that’s why we’re cutting programs that don’t work, contracts that aren’t fair and spending that we don’t need.” 4/15/09

“I am responsible for how this administration acts” Port of Spain 4/19/09

Move to April 28, 2009 when word got to Obama that

It was a mistake. It was something we found out about along with all of you. And it will not happen again. Obama addresses reporters about Airforce One Fly-by. 4/28/09

At the press conference Gibb said that:

“The review will focus on “why that decision was made and to ensure that it never happens again

The first thing you learn in sales is that you apologize for everything you caused to go wrong and everything you could have done to prevent the wrong. Obama has taken the stance that you should always declare that you are responsible for any event. Obama has told the world that he is not only going to be responsible for Administrations in the past but also be responsible for every action within his administration. Funny how it sounds almost arrogant.  But there is a fine line between arrogance and humility. I have a funny feeling though that Obama will not attempt to take responsibility on this one. Take a look at the white houses press release. Why do I say that? Well, the cost for this photo-op was to the tune of $328,835!  That’s right, 10 American tax payers making $30,000.00 per year just became government employees for the next year for a photograph or two.

Which brings me to the most important point. Do you think that Obama will castigate anyone for this slap to the face of Obama when he just said he wanted every aspect of the Government to cut costs? Remember what Obama said he wanted to cut any “spending that we don’t need” I don’t think this qualifies as a fiscally responsible and a  government who parsimoniously spends tax payers’ money. WHAT SAY YOU?
