APRIL 15, 2009 has come and gone but the tenacity of some 500,000 or more “everyday American Citizens” gathered throughout the United States to let their voices  and guitars ring loud and clear that they do not want their government suppress their right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness with heavy taxation, AKA teabaggers.  I photographed the grassroots result of the Atlanta Tea Party on the steps of the State Capital, aka The Golden Dome with about 10,000 or so of my fellow Americans.  What a great opportunity to gather with citizens across party lines and across a variety of social and economic demographics for the specific purpose and aim to let Washington know that the American government that over burdens its citizenry with taxation is not the America the founding fathers intended it to be. Here are about 200 or so photos from the day. Sean Hannity, Rep. Dick Armey, Sen. Chip Rogers, Bill ZuckerJohn Rich, Joe the Plumber, and little man Jonathan Krohn were also there to help get the word out to our politicians.  I want to personally thank Jen and Debbie, Amy, and Virgina for doing a bang up job in organizing this great event.  To bad Obama didn’t …. or rather tried…not to notice.

Great photos. I’ll be sure to link to them from AtlantaTeaParty.net this week as I update the site. Thanks for being there to document it!
