Obama must have thought that he would win huge market share with the American Economy if he could just spend 17 Billion Dollars in 70 days!
Obama has just wasted $17,000,000,000.00 (Billion) of the American Tax Payer’s money in the span of about 70 days before suggesting that maybe the bankruptcy laws should go into effect for GM and Chrysler. Want some perspective on what $17,000,000,000.00 in 70 days means to an Average American Tax Payer that makes $30,000.00 per year? Assuming that an employee would be 100% taxed only to pay for the $17B it would take 8000 employees 70 years to pay for Obamas irresponsible bet. Obama just assured 8000 future American tax payers that they will work for the government for 70 years. In short, they would not be able to retire at 65. I wonder if Obama is going to raise the age that Americans can start to receive Social Security benefits. I don’t think he will.
SO HERE’S MY QUESTION:
HOW WOULD YOU SPEND $17,000,000,000.00 in 70 days?
Formula I used:
$17,000,000,000.00/70 days = $24,000,000.00(per day)
$24,000,000.00(per day)/$30,000.00 (year salary) = 8000 years for one employee or 8000 employees working 70 years at 30,000.00
One day equals one year of work for someone making $30,000.00
