Powder Blue the movie with Jessica Biel and Forest Whitaker comes out May 9th. I’m not sure if it will just come out in DVD and bypass the silver screen. Either way my mom has a speaking part with Forest Whitaker in a church. She is only known as “woman in church” in the IMDB profile of Powder Blue. Just a little back story on my mom’s part. Forest is an ex priest and is sitting in a pew tearing out pages in the Bible and just throwing them everywhere. My mom is the nun that comes over and asks him why he is tearing up the Bible and pleads with him to stop.
She isn’t in the trailers and as you know…editing can cut out a lot of what they film. Hopefully, they won’t cut her part out. Here are two trailers from the movie. The scene that Forest is tearing out the pages in the Bible is in the first one. I expect you all to go and see it.
