Although He was speaking of a different scenario, the concept is the same. "how can anyone enter the strong man’s house and carry off his property, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house." America stands as the "strong man." We, as US citizens, do not set ourselves afloat for days upon end to find political freedom, for there is nowhere for us to repair. We are the last bastion. Also, I believe that in order for a one world solution to come about, the world must be crippled to an extent that there seems no other option. To tear down the confidence of the freedoms that we hold dear is to empower the one who will "miraculously" give it back (with strong delusion, I might add). The talk of one world currency seemed, to some, so far-fetched, or at least distant 1 year ago; but now, it looms in our headlines.
