Coach K And The Voice Of The Average American

You’ve probably already heard that Coach K politely castigated President Obama for taking unneeded time to fill out his March Madness Brackets saying, “The economy is something that he should focus on, probably more than the brackets.” But to give Obama the benefit of the doubt Katz did get Obama to promise to do this if he was elected and thus Obama “stayed true to [his] word and didn’t hesitate to get it done.”

Wouldn’t it be nice if Obama stayed true to his word about hiring lobbyists? Wouldn’t it be nice if Obama stayed true to his word about transparency? Wouldn’t it be nice if Obama stayed true to his word about creating an Administration that espouses integrity? But this hasn’t occurred. Obama nominates cheats and liars. He made sure that the Stimulus Bill was laden with earmarks that he said would not condone. And now he is quietly condoning the wishes of Chris Dodd and Barney Frank to get the names of the private citizens of AIG.  Obama seems to only have advisors who must have been either born with a silver spoon in their mouths or at least they think they were.  President Obama’s actions and decisions seem to point at that he and his advisors think America will approve of everything that he does. That he can do no wrong. He nominated liars and cheaters. He attempts to take responsibility for all the decisions as if to say, “Don’t worry, everything is okay because I took the blame. Remember I am the President of the United States.”
Well, like Coach K, more and more Americans are going to start questioning President Obama and ask him why he will allow more and more people to go under while he has parties in the White House and can fill out brackets.  It’s good to know that at least the class-less society he espouses will be the class-less-ness of his Administration.
