Do you remember when McCain said that the “fundamentals of the economy” were sound? Obama took the time to castigate McCain for what he said. McCain remembered the the foundation of the economy in America is the American Worker. The American worker creates the demand and the production which in turn creates profits. Once profits are created, they are handed out to those who are directly and indirectly responsible for those profits. Obama thinks that the Federal Government should be the one responsible for the ideas, innovation, financial backing, production, and handing out the profits of the American Economy. Since Obama became the President the Market has tanked. Every time he speaks concerning the economy the investors slow down their investing. Well, after unemployment has increase about 2% since he said, “So help me God,” he has now agreed with McCain that the fundamentals of the Economy are sound.
Our economy, I think, is still — the fundamentals of our economy are strong, but these are very, very difficult times,” McCain said. “I promise you, we will never put America in this position again.
Senator – what economy are you talking about?
After unemployment has gone up and the DJIA has gone down and people have lost a lot of money for their retirement and their family Obama now says:
“if we are keeping focused on all the fundamentally sound aspects of our economy, all the outstanding companies, workers, all the innovation, and dynamism in this country, then we’re going to get through this. And I’m very confident about that.”
So what has happened to the crisis that he has been speaking about? Everyday President Obama to the American Tax Payer and Investor that we are in a crisis that only under the Federal Government’s power could America become strong again. So I would like to know one thing: What economy are you talking about President Obama? The Free Market or a Socialized Market? Because if it is the socialized market then your economy is doing just fine.
therightscoop.com put together a video of McCain saying that the fundamentals are sound, Obama castigating McCain, and then Obama finally agreeing with McCain.
An Aside to Consider:
Economies don’t necessarily turn on a dime and if it were McCain in the White House he would have a lot of deal with concerning the economy. However, history shows that the free market always goes up when the government only controls the protection of individuals in the market and not attempt to control the market.
What Say You?
