Everyone knows that the best way to sell anything in the short run (meaning you don’t care about customer loyalty) is to sell the customer by a sense of urgency, that is, unless they act now and sign the contract, their problem will never get solved and they’ll be in a worse position than they started. Even the most level headed person will fall for this sales technique and it’s the same one that Obama is trying to sell National Health Care to America. Remember these statements about the Stimulus Plan:
Congress must act without delay (Feb 4 DJIA 7956.66)
And this one:
“But at this particular moment, with the private sector so weakened by this recession, the federal government is the only entity left with the resources to jolt our economy back to life (Feb 10 DJIA 7888.88)
Yes my fellow American’s if that plan would not have passed then we would be sitting here with the DJIA at around 940.19 as it did on Jan 23, 1981 when Reagen got into office . But the DJIA has been going down, down, down to more than 50% (6626.94) of what it was at it’s highest at 14066.01 on Oct. 5, 2007 during Bush’s term. So what does he do? Obama puts out another warning but not about banks but about health care:
“We [Government] cannot delay this discussion any longer . . . If we [Government] want to create jobs and rebuild our economy, then we [Government]must address the crushing cost of health care this year, in this [Federal Government] administration.”
What “crushing cost?” It’s Medicare and Medicaid that are busting the budget. But where in the world did they come from? “Oh, it started with Truman but not signed into law until LBJ’s “Great Society.” Wait a minute! Wasn’t LBJ a Democrat that want the the American Tax Payer to pay for the Health Care of everyone like Obama? He goes on to warn us some more:
Even for folks who are weathering this economic storm, and have health care right now, all it takes is one stroke of bad luck — an accident or an illness, a divorce, a lost job — to become one of the nearly 46 million uninsured or the millions who have health care, but really can’t afford what they’ve got.
WAIT A MINUTE, EVEN THOSE WHO ARE ALREADY INSURED NEED HEALTH CARE!!! Obama want’s the American Tax Payer to pay for the health care for those who already have it but may be a little difficult to pay? Obama want’s the American Tax Payer to pay for the health care for those who choose to get a divorce?
WELL, WELL, WELL, HEALTH CARE WOULD CREATE MORE JOBS IF YOU ARE GOING TO GIVE EVERYONE WHO DOES AND DOESN’T HAVE HEALTH CARE, HEALTH CARE!
In fact, why doesn’t Obama say that everyone should have hospice care starting at the age of 25!
So where is the connection between nationalized health care and taking over a nation? I hope you have already seen it. In order to nationalize health care you need to tax the tax payer more than it cost to run the institution. In order to get more money you have to create more reasons to tax. You could tax more from your income, your traveling through tolls and gas, even your lifestyle via “luxury items” that exceed a certain price point. But it won’t stop there. As usual, I GOT A QUESTION: How much should nationalized health care pick someone up from their distress? For example, If there is someone laying in the ditch and can’t help himself, how far should he be picked up?
- Should he be picked up just enough so that he can walk again?
- Should he be picked up, enter into a system that will give him the same health care as the average person in that community?
- Should he be picked up, enter into a system that will give him more health care than the average person in that community because he never had it like others did around him?
Nobody likes to see someone fall into hard times. But what if this guy falls into the ditch over and over again on his own accord? What should happen then? Gosh, we can ask leading questions all night long. But what will the Federal Government (remember Obama said it was their job to do this, not the private sector) do? They will ensure that everyone will have as much health care and help as possible across the board. Since health care is such a broad term the Federal Government will offer more and more services for the benefit of “health” for all people residing in the United States. Gee, you could apply anything to health. This could include mental health which can mean stress from work, stress from traffic, and even stress from failed marriages and relationships as a result of your home life as a kid.
Tax, After Tax, After Tax, the Federal Government will create health care plans that will be provided to those who have the money to provide their own health care, those who freely choose not to have health care, as well as those who shouldn’t qualify for tax payer funded entities, illegal aliens. With each new tax the American Tax Payer will be forced to work less and less because the incentive to earn more money is cost prohibitive. The American Tax Payer will then limit traveling, purchasing, and buying goods and services that would normally be bought. Those Tax Payers whom created a higher quality of life through pharmaceuticals, technology, charities, and local communities will have no incentive to do so.
I won’t go on about this any longer because this is depressing. Nationalizing Health Care will create a country that will reward irresponsibility rather that rewarding those who take on the responsibility of making the world a better place. (Irresponsibility? If you don’t work you’ll have someone else pay for you!) Obama looks for a charitable America that will provide the good intention of National Health Care but like a high credit card balance the bill will come soon enough the America that once had an incentive to help the world will sit unmoved.
Update: healthcare
